Still at it..
Still working sporadically...a little here, a little there on the different modules.
Lately most of the work has been on the "final" version of the single-player campaign for 'Mech3.
My dilemma: Well, in case no one knows, there are supposed to be 2 twin ERPPC turrets at the gate at the end of the tunnel on the Durgan city mission...Op3 Mission 5...but for some reason they are inactive in the game right out of the box. However, they ARE active in mission 3, the dropship mission. So, in my mod I've always wanted to include them somehow. I have figured there are 2 choices:
1) Combine missions 3, 4, and 5 into one giant mission starting at the dropship and ending with Durgan City and the tunnel, in which case mission 4 then becomes 6, the spaceport, and I'd be free to re-create missions 5 and 6 as 2 completely new missions...probably a backwards recon mission and perhaps a re-taking of the spaceport or something.
2) Switch mission 3 with mission 5, in which case mission 4 and 5 become back-tracking missions to the pyramid and dropship areas. This would entail the lesser amount of work...if it works. The .exe might have different ideas about this option though, I don't know haha.
Would either of these be worth doing, just so we could have 4 ERPPC turrets defending the tunnel gate? Maybe the changing of the missions would be fun in itself, something new.
Anyway, in case anyone was wondering, I'm still at it.
